They are dedicated to growth and personal development and highly invest in their people and are now seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join to the team on a full time, permanent basis.


This is a full-time permanent position, with a salary of up to £35,000 depending on your level of experience. You will also receive training, support and certifications required to ensure you stay ahead of emerging technologies, enabling you to provide exceptional customer service and fully support clients as their businesses grow.


The main duties include:

  • Troubleshooting and helping to resolve all complex issues from all escalations
  • Utilising the ticket logging system with accurate ticket logging
  • Leading customer infrastructure installations and hardware refreshes
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors
  • Working towards achieving team and company KPIs
  • Determining root causes and implementing short/long term fixes where appropriate
  • Accurately communicating the effectiveness of equipment and software relative to technology strategy
  • Making suggestions on new technologies and industry standards to help provide growth through technology
  • Assisting Account Managers in identifying and communicating the methodology and templates to be used on a project
  • Assisting in capturing and managing project risks and issues
  • Ensure knowledge capture and management by enforcing document control and deliverables tracking
  • Build and maintaining both internal and external relationships by providing high-level customer care
  • Managing external relationships (including consultants, contractors, hardware, software vendors & key stakeholders)


The successful candidate:

  • 8+ years IT and customer service experience
  • Full UK driving license
  • Expert Windows server troubleshooting experience
  • Expert Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience, including PowerShell skills
  • Expert networking diagnosis, including; ADSL, ISDN, VOIP, SIP, VLAN, Routing, NAT, CIDR, 802.11ac, PoE
  • Advanced UTM management experience
  • Advanced Mac/Linux troubleshooting experience
  • Advanced Virtualisation platforms experience; VMware, Hyper-V
  • Advanced Microsoft Exchange on-premise experience
  • Expert Server hardware troubleshooting experience; Dell, HP
  • Advanced Backup and DR experience
  • Time management and logging of time using a CRM
  • Good customer-facing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational & documentation skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
