They are dedicated to growth and personal development and highly invest in their people and are now seeking an Installation Engineer to join to the team on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be provided with a schedule of work and responsible for the delivery of technical tasks, where they have been assigned as a resource by the Project Manager. Tasks are highly varied, in both business industry and technology and you will be expected to delivery these remotely and on-site.

This is a full-time permanent position, with a salary of up to £22,500 depending on your level of experience. You will also receive training, support and certifications required to ensure you stay ahead of emerging technologies, enabling you to provide exceptional customer service and fully support clients as their businesses grow.

The role:

  • Installation of IT projects both on site and remotely
  • Traveling to client sites for installation
  • Responsible for achieving individual and team billable time target
  • Responsible for providing IT support on site and via telephone and remote support software
  • Working to a set time scale for Project installation
  • Windows Server and network troubleshooting
  • Providing a high level of customer service to a wide range of users, including those with minimal IT knowledge
  • Liaise with 3rd party software vendors where required
  • Liaise and offboard project information to the support team

The successful candidate:

  • Logic problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven capability in working to deadlines and recording of time
  • Sound technical understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
  • A desire and excitement to learn and understand a vast array of business types, requirements and technologies
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end users in simple terms
  • Personable, customer satisfaction driven attitude
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Great customer relationship skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Full UK Driving License

Desired qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an IT Support role either internally or for an IT support organisation or via accredited apprenticeship.
  • Microsoft certification or qualifications
  • A passion for all things IT related.
